just got in the house and there is tonns of eggs in the pot and on their stone.took a while and really didnt think they would breed but hey ho they did.will get some pics up soon.well chuffed.

i was gonna get my guy a girlfriend but he's so aggressive i think he'd kill her eventually.


what you gonna do with the babies?

got a spare 4ft to go in until i work out what to do with them.my red devils have been together from babies so thats probably why they bred,as you say the males once on there own for a while wont tolerate any other fish.now lets hope my midas do the same.......

cool mate red devils are cool as hell

quick update,red devil fry are free swimming now so will be going in a tank on there own very soon.
does anyone know they best way of moving fry as i believe they cant leave the water at all at this age?any ideas would be greatly appreciated

But you could do a siphon into a bucket "suck em up"

thanks.i was thinking of doing that but i can even get my hand in the tank due to both female and male trying to bite my hand off.may keep watch until they lose interest.
