Is it ok to use this stuff for weighting down some large Amazon Sword plants ? I just dont like the sound of putting "lead" in the water ?

i use lead weights in my tanks and never seem to have any problems.

me too, it didnt effect my water when i used them

I use them when I need to, but iv also been abit worried. I'v read in fishing magazines about lead weights being poisenous to fish. But i'v never had any problems
