I want to say hello to all Piranha forum UK members and Piranha keepers. I have been keeping piranhas since 1998. I specialized in Pygocentrus Nattereri and this week we had an importation from Columbia including Cariba and several chichlid species. I will try to keep cariba and nattereri together but the number of caribas will be more. Feeding your fish with livefeeders - I didn't know that it is illegal in UK. I never fed my fish with hamster, frog, bird or other small mammals. Also I don't give them goldfish because goldfish and Piranha habitats are different. Feeding your piranhas with goldfish causes the lack of Thiamine - vitamin B1 on your fish. Let me tell you mine's diet ; Chicken , lamb liver, boneless trout, shrimp and once a month live fish(the best they like pangasus and common catfish). My tank size is 120*50*60 (360lt) I use Eheim 2217 (1000lt/h) as external biological filter and Atman 2000 (lt/h) internal mechanical filter. I use Sera 300W heater and Sera degree for troubleshouting with temperature. I have quartz 0.5mm sand on the ground with anubias plants species. I test the pH level regularly. I will share photos soon.
Let me tell a little about myself. I am kickboxing 3 times a week and spearfishing more than 10 years. I like sports and travelling. I graduated the faculty of business adminiastration and took MBA. Now I am working at my dad's consultancy and law firm. He likes Piranhas too laugh.gif
Thanks for your wellcome greetings.
