I was in the middle of cleaning the garden today, and found the dog playing with a mouse. Well, mell took a liking to it and decided to keep it, so it was off to 'Pets at Home' to get a cage and some things.

While we were there I found a fresh water crayfish (blue lobster) in one of the tanks and persuaded the missus to let me have it. He's currently aclimatising in a tank now and I will get some pics as soon as possible.

The mouse had died by the time we got hom BTW. :ripe:

Had one before... very cool looking but like to pick on the fish in the tank.
I would not recommend them for anyone with P's as the crayfish will pick on the P's and they will in turn tear it to shreds.

Mine grew quite large and was extremely cool looking. I did find that I had to do more frequent water changes as he was a very messing pet.

Good luck with him and hope to see some cool photos soon! :good:

Cool find Kev... went to pets at home in rotherham today..... all they had was the usual molly's and neons, along with an interesting bird that'd escaped from the cages
